Best Food in Republic Polytechnic
Republic Polytechnic is a place with so many food varieties to choose from. There are many choices that Republic Polytechnic offers. From local delicacies to western choices to sweet course. Sometimes its a headache for RP students and lecturers to choose a food they want to eat. There are many places like North and South Canteen, Lawn Canteen, TRCC Cafe, and even Subway. All these food places are located at different parts of RP and people have different choice to eat from for each day in a week. Therefore, RP students and lecturers are never bored of the food provided in RP. It is common for students to have their favourite food but it is not everyone's favourite.
There are still some best foods that people rave about of the food in RP. Now I will be talking about the top few food that people think are the best foods in RP. There are no ranks when I am identifying the food varieties in RP. First is South's canteen "1983 A Taste of Nanyang". This has been quite raved about in Rp because it give a very nostalgic feel for people who eat that food. There were some really good reviews from the interview that we conducted and some reviews were "can taste the harmony of different taste and lifetime set in the charms of the 80s". Another students said "This nasi lemak pricing is cheaper compared to other Koufu stores in Singapore and the sambal is so good that I ask the aunty to serve more".
Another food store that is in people's top list is Crowded Bowl in Lawn Canteen. This is for people who are more health conscious. Many people go to that store because it is cheap which is what students really go for. "Cheap and Healthy". Some students stand in long queues to just get a bowl that has so many ingredients and dressing to choose from. Some students commented that "I hated salad my whole life until I was forced by my friend to eat the Crowded Bowl salad, I fell in love with it."
The last food store that I would be talking the Bingsu Corner in FS Cafe in the Library. We can safely say that Republic Polytechnic is the only poly that have a Bingsu Corner. It is also located in the library and we can study while we eat Bingsu. This is the go to place for friends to hang out and couples to go on dates because it is located next to a cafe that provides good quality food. Many reviews have came about like "food is good, dessert is good and the atmosphere is good". They have also said that it is worth the price because a $4.00 bowl can be shared by 3-4 people which is lesson that $2.00 for each person.
These are some of the best spots that RP people feel very attached to. However, this are just some spots that most people like but some people have personal preference any everyone may have different opinions.
Yes!I agree! They are all very delicious!
