Long queues in canteens posts as a matter that everyone dreads. But why? Long queues obstruct the path when people want to walk. When the queue at food stalls gets too long, other people will have difficulty navigating their way through the crowd. The first group of people that will be affected by the long queues are the food stall vendors. If the queue gets too long, the vendors will feel pressured and this could lead to them being confused between orders. One thing that I observed at the South Canteen Fried Chicken Stall is the long queue and there was once when the aunty gave my friend the wrong order. This is due to the fact that the aunty was stressed because of the long queue and she got mixed up between customers' orders. Another group of people that will be affected are the students.
